LASIK Eye Surgery

LASIK refractive surgery reduces a person's dependency on glasses or contact lenses. It has emerged as a safe and effective means of correcting near-sightedness, far-sightedness, and astigmatism.

A knife, called a microkeratome, is used to cut a flap in the cornea through which a computer-controlled laser vaporizes a portion of the eye’s interior. Actual length of time of exposure to the laser depends on how technologically advanced the laser is, and takes less than a minute at most.

The most precise laser takes just 15 seconds. A full LASIK procedure, including check-up, takes less than half a day, with no post-surgery recovery time needed. It is safer and healthier for the eyes than decades of uncomfortable contact lens wear.

Many clients combine an enjoyable vacation with their LASIK surgery for less than the cost of LASIK in their own country.

Allow a minimum of three days stay for your Lasik evaluation, surgery and post-surgery checkup. You can travel for several days and plan to return for a one-week checkup before going back home.
