Body lift
Full or partial body lift, Circumferential
body lift, Upper or lower body lift
A body lift is designed to provide
you with a balanced and proportional body that is as close to natural
as can be, and may include liposuction, abdominoplasty, circumferential
abdominoplasty, upper arm lift (brachioplasty), breast restoration,
thigh lift, and so on, according to what will give you the optimal
result.
A body lift can be a partial lift
or a total lift. A partial lift can be a lower body lift or an upper
body lift. The typical candidate for a full body lift is usually
someone who has undergone massive weight loss, 100 pounds or more,
whose weight has been stable for about a year, and who has cumbersome
or asthetically displeasing loose skin that often interferes with
daily life.
Some candidates for a full body
lift may choose, for financial or personal reasons, to have only
a partial lift. In consultation with the plastic surgeon, a decision
is made to “lift” either the upper or lower part of the body, depending
on what is most troublesome.A consultation for a body lift will
include a review of a person’s priorities for his or her body, lifestyle,
and work needs.
Sometimes the body lift candidate
also adds face lift procedures to the plan.
